Loose change sound
Hi, I just had my shocks changed yesterday. I started noticing a sound like loose change coming from the driver's side when I hit a bump. It wasn't doing that before. It's a 2005 4.7 4x4 It's a RAM

Well, you can inspect the new shocks and see if anything was left loose, or you can take it back to whoever installed them and demonstrate the issue and make them fix it if it was not doing this before.
Had shocks done yrs ago. Had a rattle. Went back to the shop and they tried to claim new shocks were defective. Left immediately. Did some research and Dodge requires top nut has a specific torque. Torqued it down no more rattle.
Your very first post says you got the shocks changed yesterday.......at any rate, glad you fixed it.
That wasn't me. yrs=years

Take it back, absolutely... tell em what allekat said
More than likely the mackinak got an alert on his FarceBook about dogs wearing sombrero's that they had to respond to and probably forgot where they were in the repair.
Please return and tell us what it was... If you don't, we might not know what to tell the next guy (or that next guy can find the answer right here, themselves)!
Cheers

I took the truck back. They checked it nothing wrong. Do you think it could be a bushing gone. That putting new shocks on it gave it enough lift to be noticable. Could it be the sway bar. Because when I hit a good bump or pothole the rear end kicks out to one side or the other! .The damn jangling is driving me nuts and it's only on the driver's side when I hit a bump. Ugh.
