Default Replacing 2005 Dodge RAM 1500 radio

Howdy,,

Need some assistance with my sound system. Want to replace the factory radio with the one in the image below. Problem is that I can’t track down the part number.

Does anyone have any details on the radio below? Any help you could provide would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Was finally able to track down the part number (RB4, Mopar P/N 82208481).

Only issue is I’m still not convinced that it’s compatible with my Dodge RAM pickup. I know that it fits, but I’ll need to check the wiring to ensure that it can be connected.

Has anyone ever connected the RB4 radio inside their Dodge RAM?

That’s a nice one! It’s a RB1. The one that I’m eyeing is the RB4.

Why wouldn't it work? Maybe not plug and play but so long as you figure out the wires, I see no reason why it shouldn't.

Plug and play minus needing a GPS antenna. RB4's were available as a factory install in your year.

That's some nice retro stuff
Are there any map updates still available for these? That would be awesome
