Hello everyone, my name is Lisa. New member 👏🏼🎉 I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500, I need to confirm if the transmission that it has is the original or if it was replaced. The code that the transmission is showing is the following: 337720293P52119494AG. I’m in doubt because the transmission code does not match with the VIN I’m not sure if it’s needs to match the VIN number or not. Thanks

 

part number comes back as fitting 05 to 08 Ram 1500..... So, its the correct trans for the application, now, is it the original trans? I doubt you will be able to determine that.

is there a problem with the trans?

 

No way to determine that unless you can tell that fasteners have been disturbed (i.e. bellhousing bolts, mount fasteners, etc).
