I have a 2006 Dodge Ram. Broke a u joint and when it broke, it blow out the side of drive shaft yoke. I have ordered a new drive shaft. my question is I have an 03 ram that I would like to use temporarily while waiting for new one to arrive. The issue is the the 03 shaft is an inch shorter. Will it work till I get new one?

 

Probably not a good idea. If it manages to come out while you are driving, that's a whole 'nother can o' worms.
