08 Ram 1500 5.7 L V8 4x4 with the 06 fuse box. Truck was in an accident, left front wheel, from lower to upper control arms ripped off, inner left front axel shaft broken, busted rack and pinion, ripped the wires from the 20 pin under cab connecter. Repairs have been made, wires re-connected to mirror opposing side, Truck has power, everything on the inside along with lights outside works, but engine will not turn over. Battery has full charge, truck has set for nearly 6 months, no airbag deployment.

 

Do you hear a click from the starter relay, or the solenoid?

 

None, Changed out battery and replaced fuses, still nothing.

 

Tried starting in neutral?

 

The ground on the actual starter was severely corroded, all the way into the unit, 2 ground points driver side frame and front of engine terminals badly damaged from corrosion. Cleaned all ground points replaced terminals and starter. Truck runs like new, thanks for the help in troubleshooting.
