Default Replaced hub assembly, now have a question

So at 207,000 miles on my 2007 5.7 1500 Mega Cab my right front wheel bearing finally went. Its a 4x2 by the way.

Had to whack and pry the old one out for about a day, destroying the shroud in the process.

Bought a new one, multiple sites including NAPA say these fit my truck (Dorman 924684).

When I tried to put the rotor back on, low and behold the shroud is now in the way. It is not installed backwards (the bend in the shroud bends away, not back towards the rotor.)

Is it common to have to bend the shrouds to fit? I checked the other, old one and it seems there is little to no room between the knuckle and the shroud, but the new one has almost two fingers of space. I can bend it, just want to make sure that might be a normal thing to have to do?

It's Dorman. Just bend it till it fits.

Angry Update, not a good one

Update, not a good one.

So the Dorman ones ('guaranteed to fit' my megacab btw) are a no go. They are simply far too shallow, and it is obvious they are designed for a normal 1500.

Every site I can find shows the dust shroud that I need as discontinued. The part number is 52010214AC btw, not that it has done me any good. I can't even find anything on ebay.

I am at a loss. I even grabbed a set of 4wd ones seeing by the pictures that they are much deeper (and available) but the hub itself is larger for the 4x4, so I can't make that work. (I was going to drill holes as needed to change to a 3 hole vice 4 hole as that is what I throught the only real difference was, but I was wrong.)

Even called the dodge dealer, gave them the VIN, and the guy said yep, discontinued. He said check Autozone (not available) or junkyards.

So I am down to 1. go without a dust shroud, which doesn't seem right 2. find a yard which has a 2wd truck and pull it without ruining it or 3. find a metal shop that would try to make something, but I don't have the specs for it.

Any advice with this?

If you can't find 'em, just don't worry about 'em. They are not a critical component.

X2 on this. They catch rocks and squeak, i you drive much gravel anyway, they rust off and rub on everything. If they survive bearing removal, they rarely go back on any vehicle I own.

Also 1500 mega, look up parts for a 2500. You wont find many parts that don't interchange with a 2500 besides the springs and door badges IIRC, buts its been a few years since I owned one. Never had issues when ordering parts for 2500, just saves some confusion.
