Default 1500 slt 4x4 torque converter and trans swap question

I'm installing a new torque converter and used trans I picked up and was curious if there is any kinda seal or o-ring that need to go on with the converter or do I just pre-fill and slide it onto the shaft of the trans? aside from that just wondering the best method or approach to dealing with the pre-existing trans fluid in the trans since im installing a new converter is there a preferred method for draining to make sure I minimize the chance of running bad fluid through my new torque converter ?
I have the service manual and parts manual and didn't notice anything about an o-ring but website I purchased TC from stated " O-Ring not included "
I've read the how to here on the forum and saw no mention of an o-ring just wanted to be clear before proceeding !

There is a seal for the torque converter, and since you are RIGHT THERE, I would certainly replace it. If it leaks, trans has to come out to change it.

im going to attempt to track that down today hopefully someone has it in stock locally . I was considering doing my rear main seal but its not leaking and im hoping to replace the engine in the next 2 years so on the fence about pushing the install back any further . ive been without a truck for almost 2 months & once this is done praying it solves all the issues its intended to the next step is replacing all the broken ignition coil hold downs and fuel injectors then its some onto valve cover gaskets , serpentine belt and some pulleys that are heavily corroded . if not for the torque converter and possibly trans going bad id be done with the other stuff already and installing my E-fans. for all I know I didn't need to replace the trans but didn't want to risk pulling a trans with 200k then finding out I have to pull it again so I picked up a used trans with transfer case and front shaft that allegedly only has 57k on it so just seemed like I better option . my next dilemma to deal with is how to go about draining the replacement trans without compromising the new converter . my plan was to install everything then just drain and replace the filters and pan entire in pursuit of a pan with a drain plug. a deep pan frustratingly is not financially in my cards at the moment
