Default 04 ram 1500 3” bl?

So i’ve got a 3” body lift otw for my 2004 ram 1500 alt 4.7. I was wondering the pros and cons of the body lift compared to the suspension lift. This is my current truck rn (before any lift modifications) Please lmk if you have any pics or anything of your 3rd gen with a 3” bl.

Body lift gives clearance for larger tires, that's about it. Suspension lift gives you more ground clearance AND room for bigger tires.... So, if you like doing the off-road thing, suspension lift is where it's at. Problem being, body lift is dirt cheap, and relatively easy to install. Suspension lift is expensive, and significantly more work to install. If all you want is 'the look' body lift. If you actually want more capability, suspension lift.

Welcome to DF. Moving this to Third Gen Ram section for ya.

yeah. i don’t plan on really ever going off-roading. after all, it is a 2wd truck. i mainly just want the look. the main thing im worried about are the gaps, the exhaust tip being low (i heard this is easy to fix), and the trailer hitch being low.

Not a lot you can do about any of that with a BL...... Exhaust can be moved, but, trailer hitch is where it is.
