Default Maybe y'all can help?

2006 1500 4.7

I posted this in another forum with no luck, so I'm going to try my look here. I bought this truck blown head gaskets, got it all apart. Got it put back together. It's running great but there's this vacuum line. I have no clue where it goes to, it was already off when I started to tear down. It goes through the firewall about the center point behind the engine about where the hood gasket is or so. From what I understand it has to do with the AC blend doors or something. Not sure, do any of you guys know where this thing is supposed to go? Your help is greatly appreciated! I would just go to a junkyard and look at one but it's over an hour away and I don't have that kind of time.

I'm trying to remember what the vacuum controls on an 06. The dash is 100% electronic, no vacuum, the vacuum reservoir is mounted in the wiper cowl, thats where the hose goes it appears.

I'm wondering if maybe the cab was switched from an older 3rd gen?

I'm not sure about that. If you need any pics of anything let me know.

Get yourself a factory service manual for your truck. You can generally find them on EBay in electronic format for a reasonable price.

I'm thinking that there's no vacuum reservoir there. I'll be back at the truck maybe in an hour or so. When I bought it the coolant overflow/ windshield washer fluid tank was missing too. Maybe they took that off for some reason too

Well I finally figured out where that hose is supposed to go. You were right. It comes from the vacuum reservoir comes through the cowl and it's supposed to go over to the brake booster and the cruise control line comes off the bottom of it.
