Something about the clips holding anti spin clutch. Does this make any sence to anyone? The clips were in pieces.

RE: Up date on rear end damage
Just finished mine about 20 min ago, also opted for 4.56 gears. What a difference. was a pain though because of the updated housing. Only had about.0020 clearence between housing and ring gear, had to grind down housing a little for security reasons just in case.

RE: Up date on rear end damage
It would be doing everyone a favor (Chrysler included)
if everyone going into a Dodge dealership would tell the salesman first thing:
"I am never buying another vehicle that has a Chrysler 9.25 differential under it !"
The word would quickly filter back to headquarters.
Dodge has their choice of differential designs from Mercedes, Dana Spicer, & American Axle (GM)
all of which are proven reliable.
There is no reason to accept the troublesome C-Clip non floating 9.25 with its history of pinion bearing, pinion seal and clip failures.
If someone intend to chime in and claim the 9.25 was reliable back in the 1980s I would agree with that, but Chrysler has somehow screwed it up beyond fixing, kind of like how they ruined a proven 727 automatic by turning it into a 46 auto.
