My nick name for my beautiful girlfriend ,well she likes driving my old 2005 Dodge 1500 4x4, 4 door crew cab Hemi 5.7 V 8. she says every everyone just gets out of her way( and they better) lol. Yesterday she said my transmission fluid was low ? I said do you remember where to put the trans fluid and she said yes. Cool i said there is a blue quart near the back door of the garage . She said i got it ! . Well I let her go to the garage but was worried she is beautiful ,but dip sticky. So i went out a minute after her and i am glad i did. Why beautiful girlfriend used the wrong dip stick I am not sure,why she was putting the trans fluid in the oil dipstick. lol well i told her i was needing to use the truck later and she would have to take her Vette. She had only put about a 1/2 quart of trans fluid and had not got in it to start it yet thank heavens. I dropped the oil pan and cleaned it real good and changed the oil & filter. I have not started it yet.Does anyone think I should start it or have other things i might should do? I have a beautiful girlfriend just as long as i don't call her my dip stick she didn't get it lol.

 

If it never started with it in there, Just changing the oil would have been adequate to the task. Little bit of trans fluid residue in there wouldn't hurt anything.

 

You could have just drained it and you would be good. Had it been started, transmission fluid is HIGH detergent oil and you could have cleaned sludge out of the engine. Within reason, it wouldn't have hurt anything..

As for HER being dip sticky, she isn't. She has enough sense to check fluids. She just needs experience. This gal sounds like a keeper! Trust me, I've dealt with women over the hyears who put tape over the check engine light and keep driving. just turn the radio louder to drown out the knocking.
