Default Prndl

after code 2509 NO CRANK anymore and, no new codes.... "SPNDL indicator not showing on dashboard".....how to proceed diagnosing and hopefully fix it. (2007.5 ram 2500, SLT, 2wd., 6 automatic)

p2509 Code - ECM/PCM Power Input Signal Intermittent

Check your fuses, battery connections, etc.

batteries replaced & all grounds cleaned and checked for voltage drop/ the PRNDL is needed for crank authorization....how to diagnose / fix PRNDL ?

code was deleted, now no crank/no start/no codes but 12v+ and ground ok on diagnostic module,
replaced transmission range sensor module again no change,

Usually, if it's a range sensor problem, ALL the gears light up, and it sets a code, if you are not getting a display at all, that's likely something else. Will your scanner tell you what gear the PCM thinks it is in?

You need a service manual for your truck. I think they are still published by Bishko, should be able to get a downloadable version from them for relatively cheap.
