Does Ford really expect us to buy this?
I agree, pure gimmick. Its like the Silverado commericials where they say, "More horsepower and torque than Ford or Dodge." Then in small print it says, "on standard equipment." Toyota is the same way with their "People always talk about what they trucks can tow. We think about the 4th, 5th, and 6th loads." Well, unless you plan on towing a MAX 6,000 lbs EVERY time, that does nothing for you.
I think the dodge actually outdid the f150 on quite a few of the things that they say the f150 did. and wow did you see the nissan back end slide, at the first test?

We have been all over this in the Off Topic section

I think the dude is actually a fan of dodges, hah he's like "I like this on dodges.. BUT.. ford is paying me more" lol. and they left dodges out of a few tests..
I personnally have always like the f-150 interior, a little flashy and new. Also DODGE N DITCHES - if you want automatic headlamps on your RAM just leave your lights on all the time. I have upgraded my bulbs and I always drive with them on and the fogs too. The RAM has an automatic kill for the interior lights and the headlights if you leave them on, it kills em after about five minutes EVERY time. I haven't flipped my switch in months unless I had a left lane sitter in front of me on the toll-way.

Have you seen fords new commercial for the F150's. They smash it together from the front and rear with (what I would call) a giant beer can smasher. The truck frame just snaps between the cab and bed. They call it a new saftey feature. I don't know what the Ford guys are thinking but if i hit something, I want to be able to drive away from it and not have my truck snap like a stick.

Actually, If you look at the bottom of the screen it states "simulation, not typical results, etc." or something to that effect. So if the truck really was crushed it'd look nothing like they're claim.
