Its your choice. Personally, I don't like the Titan's interior. I really like its exterior storage.

Hemi, what can I say, I bought it, I love it.

dude let me tell you first hand, i was going to buy an 2005 S.E. a month ago because it looked nice and had good power, the only problem was getting them to lower the price. The salesman told me i cant find a better truck at that price (32,000), oh boy was he full of it. So i left and went to the dodge dealer down the road and test drove a ram with the 4.7 and the 5.7 let me tell ya 30 minutes later i drove out of there with dodge QC thunder road package with 4.7. what sold me on the dodge was the price ,ride and the power for such a small engine and the available performance parts, to me the titan 5.6 feels the same as the ram 4.7, and the 5.6 is nowhere near the 5.7 hemi. TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT KEEP WHAT YOU HAVE YOU MADE A GOOD DECISION!!!!!!!!

alright kids let me make this short and sweet. i traded 2003 2500 on 2004 titan le. yea lots of bells and whistles, but they are only good when they work. these trucks are crap. buy a titan if you don't mind the dealer having it as much as you. needless to say i now own a 05 3500 diesel loaded.

I may catch a lot of flack here, but I'm new.
I am a service manager at a Nissan Dealership.I just bought a 04 1500 4x4 Hemi quad cab over a Titan. Other than the brake vibration problem and rear end noise problem on the earlier models (both of which has permanent fixes for them), I dont really see any repeditive type repairs on the Titans. On my end, my dealership has made tons of money on those repairs! On the otherhand, it is a pain to keep bringing them in for those repairs.
One of the main reasons I didnt choose a Titan, is because I hate the interiors. Unless you spring for the LE with leather, the seat fabric is terrible. The paint on the interior pieces(radio/cruise buttons, ect) scratches all too easy. Nissan will kick back this type of repair under warranty stating its normal wear and tear. The door panels remind me of a Ranger work truck panel. I can go on and on. But mechanically wise, I cant say anything bad about them.

I have only had my Ram a few days, but so far I love it. Had a Dakota 4.7 before and it wasnt big enough for me. Plus that, the tranny was getting a bit soft. Thought it was time to unload before it unloaded me on the side of the road.[:@]

Just about the exact opposite of my experience. I went to the Dodge dealer first, they only had 4x4s in QC, and they wouldn't budge from $26,500 for the truck(I am not sure what trim it was but it definitely wasn't loaded). That was right when Dodge started to drop their prices to compete with Chevy's Employee discount program. Anyways I saw some Titans across the road, and went to check them out even though I was guessing they would be too expensive. They were much cheaper than I thought and I ended up buying one at another dealership. I got an SE 4x4 Kingcab with the Tow Package(hitch, larger alt and batt, trans cooler, lower gear ratio etc), Off Road pkg(rear locker, 285/70s, thicker skid plates, fog lamps etc), and Pop pkg(twin captains chairs) for 25k even, no trade in. I don't know why the dealer you went to wouldn't budge from $32k for an 05 SE. You could have got an 05 SE 2wd Crew Cab for about 23k at the most where I was at, when I was there and the rebates were a lot better a month ago than when I bought my truck.

I still like Dodges. Here's a pic of my Dad's 3500 and my Titan:

Service manager at a Nissan dealer buying a Hemi Ram: priceless. I think that pretty much sums up the comparison. The Titan interior is pretty weak, and you are right, that seat fabric sucks.

Hey guys, I'm just replying to mr casuals 'info' on the hemi QC ram running a 16.1 1/4 mile. I read a comparison by Truck Trend that said the Titan King cab ran a 15.6, and so did the Quad Cab Ram. Hmm...I wonder which is faster in 4dr. trim? Anyway, if any of you go to read it, they are all 4 "full-door" trucks but the Titan, says at the bottom of the last page that they couldn't find one basically i think. Basically what I'm sayin is that QC vs. QC, the Ram is probably faster. Other than that, the cab configuration should decide which you buy, since one is ext. cab and one is single cab.

aaron_c, the titan is faster than the Hemi in QC trim. this is because it's transmission shifts quicker. Lucky for us Mopar maniacs, this also means that the transmission is harder on itself and scratches around so at about 150,000 miles on a Titan or maybe sooner given stop-start city driving, we may see lots of Titans need new transmissions. The Titan is a new truck so Nissan pumped it full of roids and shoved it into the market, the Hemi is a proven mechanical design that has heritage, prestige, and street cred so it is the more dependable and stronger truck. it's like i always say, "MOPAR OR NO CAR!!!"
