Default Ram vs Titan

I just bought a new 1500 2 weeks ago, I've always thought the Nissan Titan's were bad ***. I'm debating in whether I should keep my truck or get a Titan. I have a 1500 QC Hemi 4x4, any thoughts?

If you contemplate it then you should and also be slapped. Titans suck and are no match for the Hemi.

This is a question you needed to answer before buying a new truck just two weeks ago....

Im guessin you can afford the negative equity then? Dumb idea..not only would you lose money, youd be trading down to a truck that was rated the LEAST reliable vehicle for 2004-2005.....

what???

you realize you will lose about 5-6k on your truck RIGHT AWAY...maybe more if its an 05.

what year and model/options do you have?

I'll tell you right now.....all bias aside...the Ram is the better "truck"....the nissan is more "cool looking" on the inside...but the ram is a better built truck...with more power and ability. Ive sat in quite a few Titans...and I would take my laramie ram ANYDAY over that truck...

the only other truck I considered before buying the my 05 Ram was the new Chevys...thats it.

Titan up against the Dodge 1500 Ram Quad Cab , Ford F150 SuperCrew, and the brand new Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab, all equipped with the 5-liter V8s and automatics. There's a lot of advertising hoopla being generated touting the power of the new Dodge 5.7-liter Hemi. Without question, the 5.7-liter V8 is strong. It makes a whopping 345 horsepower and 375-lb/ft of torque, far surpassing the other contender's in the horsepower category. But the vaunted Hemi isn't that much stronger than the F150's 5.4-liter Triton V8 in the torque category (365 vs 375) and is actually 4-lb/ft shy of what the Titan 5.6L's 379 lb/ft. And, as any engine builder will share, it's torque and gearing, not horsepower that dictates how fast a vehicle accelerates up to about 60mph. From there on, horsepower plays its role. A point aptly proved when the Titan, which can be run in either 2wd or 4wd mode, ended up being the quickest accelerating and fastest stopping of the foursome on the Gulfport Dragway's (Gulfport, Mississippi) quarter-mile track. After a half-day at the dragstrip, the consensus among our four test drivers is if you're looking for the best four-door, four-wheel-drive pickup when it comes to straight-line performance, towing, or off-pavement prowess, the Titan has to be the first choice.

Ram, Titan,,,,if you really wanted the Titan wouldn't you have gotten it 2 weeks ago. Aside from splitting hairs a V8 is a V8. All the 5 litre trucks are pushing close to the same #'s. Driving to work every day are you going to miss the few lbs of torqe the other guy does/doesnt have? Probably not, but the fact that you did get the ram says that there is something about it that you like.Keep it and be happy or since you obviously have enough money not to worry abut the depreciation I'll give you $10.00 for it and you can go out and buy the truck you are wishing you had gotten. Either way quit your complaining, you got a sweet ride that I know plenty of people would part with a kidney for.

LOL!!! 16.1 Who was driving the Ram, old ladies with 500 lbs of cement in the bed? Please, the Titan is a joke. I've raced a few Titans and none of them have even come close to beating me stock vs. stock. So you can take your Anti-American truck #s from Motor Trend or CR or wherever you got those absolute lies and take them back to the Titan board. One thing you can't deny is that the Titan has been labeled the worst reliable truck out there.
