So here we go... Stock 20" tires, suspension... I DO have 6.1 cam, 6.1 tbody, Dynatech/ Magnaflow, AFE intake, 4.56, 100 shot of Gas.
Oh...Superchips on performance tune, on 93 Octane.

Keep in mind, this night was 50deg, 20MPH Headwind...definately scrubbed off some MPH.
Run #1: Nearly 'guardrailed' the truck spinning SOOOOOO bad at 1/2 track truck was sideways , and had to lift, then got back in it.
[:'(]
16.923@90.97, 2.067 60'

Run #2: Sprayed in 2nd

13.754@96.64, 2.117 60'

Run #3: Tried to spray 1/2 way through 1st, lifted and stabbed it again, quickly. Dialed in a 13.65 optimistically, broke out..YAY!

13.583@97.79, 1.992 60' might add: 8.59@80.17 1/8mile

I see 13.teens, 13.flats with better conditions, and tire. --not to mention, more time at track with the Ram.

Congratulations man, next you'll need to get a video of your run! I'll be taking a digicam with me when I hit the track later this spring.

Very impressive!!! I'd also like to hear more about the 6.1 parts on your truck. I know that the intake are different from 5.7 to 6.1, but didn't know what other helpful parts could be swapped. How was the cam install?

Killer time slip. Have you run your truck on a Dyno since the mods?

I will get some pics...Not much different than the stock TB, but no 'lip' before the butterfly, maybe 2-3mm larger..Seems more responsive, just not that you have to get the new TB programmed into the computer, the voltages are different, and the computer gets really confused. It was like $150-160 bucks. You want parts? Call Ruston Chrysler/Dodge in Ruston, LA...Parts guy is great and a gear head. Tell him Eric Sent you!

---> You must either use shorter bolts or spacers due to the flange differnces. Otherwise you will creat new holes in the intake...Just a note, fortunately I found that out BEFORE any damage occurred.
