Default Never let your Girl drive your truck

Yesterday My Gf had to drive my truck since her car was in the shop. I knew that it was goign to be bad news, she called me when she was on her way to pick me up at work telling me someone hit her in the back. Damage was not too bad just a scratched bumper, but while I'm waiting for the cops to show up I walk around my truck and I see more stuff. My front bumber was all scratched on the sides and on the passager side the bed had some nasty scratches. I asked her about them and she tells me "oh yeah I was going to tell you about those". So one day of her using my truck is costing me almost $2000 bux in body work. the moral to my story is If your girl needs a car for what ever reason RENT HER ONE.

I'm betting she drives a small car. That's one of the reasons there is so much uproar over "large" vehicles is because it takes getting used to driving them especialy in the city. Jumping from a small car to a large truck is like night and day.

I had to let my gf borrow the truck while she was visiting me, the whole time I was at work, i was worried. Luckily nothing bad happend, except that she fell in love with it, now she wants me to give her the truck or she will steal it. Well at least she understands why I obsess about it now, lol.

Sorry to hear about the truck. I hate to sound sexiest, but.... "Women drivers..." Sounds like the rental would have been the better way to go. When I bought my Ram, I was changing from a Neon to a full size truck, so I can relate on the size difference. I still have the neon, so it helps to make my driving habits a little more diverse. I think for me though, (because I'm so ****, lol) I don't let anyone drive my vehicles for just this type of reason. Although I wouldn't let most guys drive them either.

My girlfriend drives my truck all the time, never comes back looking like that. Actually she wants one of her own.

I am one of the lucky ones because my fiance does not want to drive my truck for in fear of damaging it. I try to get her to drive it but she won't. After hearing your stories maybe I will stop trying.

Not trying to get all the women of the site to like me or anything, but typically, when you get rear ended, it is not your fault, it is the person behind you tailgating or not paying attention.

My rules are a little different. They can drive the truck or Jeep, but if they want to drive the Viper I have to be with them
