Has anyone gotten a spray in for their truck? How much did it cost? Has anyone tried to get one of the Do It Your Selff kits for undr a 100 or so? How did it turn out?
I got my Line-X when I bought the truck. Takes a beating and only had it repaired once (small scrap from metal welder). It has a lifetime warrenty, where if it comes off they fix it free. Only cost $400 for over the rail. I've hauled everything in there (gravel, sand, dirt, car parts, atv). Even when I was shoveling the gravel and sand out, it still didn't strip the liner.
Go with Line-X. I have it in my bed and thinking about applying to rocker panels. I've heard bad stories of the Do It Yourself applications. Don't go there!
On my current truck I have a paint on bed liner called Herculiner. It has been ok. It cost at the time about $100. It definatly faded, but it did protect my truck. It is not as durabel as the spray-in like line-x and rhino linings. However, if you don't have the money, and I didn't, it isn't that bad.
My truck came with Line-X. I have used the can stuff on small projects non truck related it is ok but not near as good. I see you are in San Diego, my buddy owns Rhino linings in Temecula and that stuff is pretty bullet proof. It is around $395 over the rails and lifetime warrenty I belive.
