Hello all, due to the findin' of lots of issues tryin' to find the "secret" underseat storage, here is how:


Under the middle seat, there is a lever for the center consil and near the floor, there is a lever that leads you to the storage compartment.


Now you grad hold and give 'er a tug upwards to reveal the underseat storage.


There is lots of room. We store our campin' gear in here.

 

i posted a question about my center armrest awhile back but no one could give me an answer ... my armrest is covered and appears to not open but one day i was looking around and undid the vinyl clasp in the back to reveal a spring loaded hinge (not the hinge that the entire armrest rotates up on) that appeared to be the hinge for an armrest that opens to store stuff withing ... upon further inspection i could feel through the vinyl that there was a recess in the front where a clasp should go ... i've yet to take the entire armrest out and strip it nekid to find out but i was wondering if anyone had any input on this ... when i take it out and apart i'll post pics and show you guys ... if it does indeed open i'll get it reapohlstered to be a functional storage space

 

oh no...that's too obvious...i definately do not have that! you probably thought i was an idiot...i went out and messed with all my stuff today and my center console does not open, for sure...but i am still going to take that out and mount my amp under there and possibly install a fan cuzz it overheats constantly...wish i had that storage...oh well, thanks man!

No, you ain't the first to ask. It's a good question to 'cause it took me a while. I ended up findin' it when I lost a CD down there and felt a lever as I picked it up. We have the SLT package, do you just have the base package?

 

Man, how do you fit your camping stuff in there? It's so small I can't even get my tent in there?!

It's a handy comparment, I have some jackets and **** in it for when its really cold out.

 

I got myself a 2005 Ram QC in October 2005 and its the SLT model and it doesnt have that center compartment, ive looked several times and nothing... oh well[]

 

Fire extinguisher in mine and a set of binoculars so I can watch the birdies ha ha ha.
