I just bought an 06 and picked Silver. It's one of the best colors for looks and upkeep I think

I picked a 4x2 for various reasons rather than a 4x4 and I live up here in Canada. Right now I drive a 94 dakota V6 and it's only a two wheel drive and for where I go and what I do it does me just fine. Now I can't rip off the line as fast as a 4x4 in bad weather but I really don't care nor do I use to go mudding or on a farm. I think with the limited slip on my new RAM it'll be a bit better.

Well... It's 45 against 5... So... I think this is settled... Over 70% of the total vote is for 4x4.

hav the 4x2 and hav not regretted not havin the extra weight to lug around... i need it to tow my boat and don't plan to offroad anywhere... had my truck 1 yr with 41K miles on it... I love to drive it and not once hav I been in a cuda/wuda situation and more times than not pulled 4x4's on the street cuz I didn't have that extra weight...

I got a 4x2 simply because im a starving college kid, who still needs a truck to pull his waverunner, and to load up ****, but can't afford the payments of a 4x4 =/

But i still got the V8! hehe

EDIT: I also got the 4x2 because I wanted to mod the living **** out of it and take it to the track =D, and the extra weight of the 4x4 would slow me down=) But thats not for a nother couple of years hehe

<----- Speak Freak, especially w/ my truck

The weight difference between the 4x4 and the 4x2 is only like 200lbs...

I use my 2 wheel drive hemi ram to tow around my 1985 bronco II. Its a POS, lifted, and has 33's. My ram is tough, but that bronco has rolled over in a ditch, and I got pulled out, and cranked right up.

Well, I don't need to seat six comfortably, don't need to move plywood and sheetrock, don't need to tow a small country, and don't need to power all the wheels (I guess I don't need a truck at all) but hot damn its nice when all those needs come together at one time.

P.S. if you start making a lot of power at the track, 4wd might help with wheel spin.

I had a 2WD truck before getting my Dodge and it was absolutely useless if we had ANY snow, much worse than a FWD car. Since I can only afford one vehicle, 4WD was the only way to go for me.
