Sorta self-explanatory, when I sell our 1973 Impala, I'm looking to get atleast 2.5k for it. What would be the best stuff to do with it.
I want basic performance and some exterior mods.

Save another 1K and then wait for the STS Turbo to be on sale again. =)

Easiest 60% increase in overall preformance you'll ever get.

Sure, you could spend $2500 on exhaust, intake, programmer, new gears, etc etc etc etc etc, and still only have an extra 50-75HP...

Save your money for a *REAL* upgrade.

 

Nah man, it's my parent's truck, my dad just said that the money I get from selling the Impala is mine and I wanna use it on the Mega Cab.

 

Well then... 4.56 gears, cat-back exhaust system, cold air intake, superchips flashpaq programmer, and maybe tint the windows or something... :P

 

Does it have the 4.10's already? I'd go with a nice K and N filter, exhaust system, and a Superchips tuner. You could always get a supercharger, but it'd cost around 5k. You could get a few more mods with the left over money, just google search.

 

Where does it say where your axle ratio is?

 

It should say in the glove box, on a sticker. Thats the way it is in my dad's 03' Ram. I think it comes with a 3.73, or a 4.10.

How much do gears run?

 

If it was my parent's truck, I wouldn't be spending one cent on it!!! How about a nice toy like an ATV or something that you can call your own?

 

It's gonna be mine soon. I'm getting my permit this November.
