2006 Tire size question

Default 2006 Tire size question

Lookin to get some wider and taller tires for my truck. Not going to lift it just want something a lil more aggressive than stock, fill up the wheel wells a lil more the stock tires seem small. Its a 06 QC hemi 4x2 any suggestions on what will fit in there. Thanks

I think some have gone with 305/50/R20 size, but I'm not familiar with any problems they might be experiencing with that tire/rim setup.

isnt the 305/50/R20 a shorter tire than the 275/60/R20 ?

Sorry. I couldn't find a 305/55/R20 at tirerack, so I listed the 305/50/R20 tire since they listed the stock tire as 275/55/R20, but I should have just read the post above[sm=boink3.gif]. The 305/50/R20 tire is a 32" tire BTW. The 275/60/R20 is a 33" tire, so yes, I goofed. It is wider and slightly smaller. Not a bad thing on the track though. If you go to tirerack and play with the tire size selector, you'll get a better idea of tire sizes and what not.

You'll have to look into some agressive tread tires... like 33x12.5x20

They'd be 1.75 inches wider, and about the same height... In a 4x2 I really don't think you'd be able to fit 35"s....
