Default Should the interior be two-tone?

I ordered a 2006 1500 Quad 4x4 SLT with gray cloth seats and I got a khaki headliner and pillar. Half-way down the door is khaki too. Anyone else get this? Dodge is saying its supposed to be like this. Yuck! I'll try to post some pics. Thanks!

Jim

It is not just the Rams. Dodge has other cars like this. Even other manufacturers do this.

My 04 is the same way - light grey on the headliner and down the pillar, then dark on the dash, carpet, seats, etc. I don't mind.

It keeps the inside from looking so dark. Matter of fact, I never really noticed it until a few months ago when someone asked the same question.

Ok thanks! I guess I'll learn to like it; its just that the brochure showed gray.

My headliner and pilars are light grey and the rest is darker greay. It does not bother me but if it were khaki then I would have a problem.

RedMonkey,
What color are your seats? Gray? This is what I have.

They all do. Two tone was very popular in the super luxo-autos of the 30's and 40's. It is now used as a design tool to brighten up the cabin. Most all the German cars do this. I am sure they would also have done studies on the idea for other reasons.
