Torn between 2 trucks

what is it about the hemi that you don't want? it gets better mileage than the CTD, and out here in the cali bay area, diesel is a couple cents over premium unleaded. so unless you're towing all the damn time, id just get it with the hemi. it'd be better off road any ways with the hemi. otherwise, i wouldnt bother with the power wagon if you want a CTD.

2. Contrary to what you say the CTD does get a hell of a lot better fuel efficiency than the Hemi.
3. 300,000 to overhaul
4. I want the mean looks of the jacked up PowerWagon with the sound and smell of burnt diesel.
I'm sure I can list a bunch more reasons if i sat here and thought for a sec. But if the only changes needed involve relocating the winch and putting in lightly heavier shocks then I really don't see why this would be so difficult to do. Its not like cutting my articulation a few degrees shorter is gonna effect me anyway. Like I said i'm in a year i'll have my degree in mechanical engineering and I love projects.
OK i'm changing my mind on the power wagon to CTD conversion. I think it would be much easier for me to buy a quad cab CTD and convert it to a powerwagon minus the winch. all i'd really have to do is re-badge, lift, new shocks, new sway bar. DONE
yea yea it wouldnt have th granny gear but 1st gear in a standard cummins 6 speed is low enough
