Default removing Rain-X

Put Rain-X on my windshield and hate the way it works[sm=smiley21.gif]. Anyone know how to remove it?

Use glass cleaner and it will come off. I belive that Rain-X makes a glasswipe / precleaner that will also work.

I did the same thing some time ago to one of my vehicles and all the stuff did was make a mess of the windshield during a rain. I agree with the vinegar/water. If that doesn't work, try normal alcohol, and rinse.

All I use on my windsheild is Glass Plus, works great. Tried RainX once, did not notice a difference.

If you do not apply Rain X correctly it will be a mess. Make sure to wipe off with a wet cloth right after application- I use this stuff on a 3 month basis. If anything it makes your wipers work better.

If you apply it correctly, the stuff works great. I always use it and the rain just slides right off. Works even better with the wipers.

I also have great luck with it,I add the rain-x washer fluid ,and it makes the initial application last longer, To remove use any amonia based window cleaner!

Thanks for all your input. Have always used Rain X and love the way it works on all the other windows. Helluva lot easier to clean them in the winter. Before I write off the product, I'll give it another try. Perhaps it was the applier and not the product!
