A couple weeks ago Pinks! had a Bully Dog produced/sponsered Ram CTD racing an chevy S10 I think. The Ram barely pulled it off, but a W is a W. Yeah I saw that civic one (where he snapped an axle on the final run). That's what you get for asking for 20 car lengths. Who would have thought the track would grip better a little further down the road?? I have absolutely NO SYMPATHY for that dumbass.

 

I know a guy with an '03 1500 Quad Cab 4X4 Dodge Hemi with 17" wheels and 3.55 gears. His brother has an 8.1 Chevy Quad Cab 4X4, allison transmission, 4.10 gears. Both trucks are stock. The Dodge beats the Chevy by about 4 trucklengths in a quarter mile, but the Chevy is gaining on the Dodge at the end. You will get him in the short run, like 1/8 mile. With the hypertech, he may be even with you at the end of the quarter. The extra weight he has kills him in the short run. Trust me, I saw it with my own eyes. You should beat him bad in an 1/8 mile. By a Superchips Flashpaq. You will destroy him. The 8.1 chevy 3/4 ton actually is slower than the 6.0 chevy 3/4 ton, and I beat my dad's 2003 Chevy quad cab 4x4 2500 chevy with the 6.0 and 4.10 gears even before the flashpaq. The 8.1 is a beast, but it isn't a speed deamon.

Basically, that motor is built for tq, not HP. I think it would be close, but off the line I say the Chevy, but overall I think it's either way.

sorry to say but the chevy would win .. because of the motor.. he got more torch and horse power at the rear wheels.. the hemi wouldnt give in.. also it depends on how you drive it.....
