RE: lots of problems with my RAM 1500
First of all I agree with most this is not the best board to complain about dodge ram's but still a valid post since we all have questions and like to hear and help other dodge owners opinions, I have 2 Rams a 03 4x4 Reg. Cab with 4.7 and a 05 QC. hemi sport and I am very happy with both trucks the only prob. I had was a bad fuel pump @ 18,000 miles on the 03 and was replaced free by the dealer, in my opinion Dodge Ram is the best built truck these days maybe not the nicest interior or finish but for shure the most reliable.
And by the way I am also Mexican and I dont see what makes me diffrent from Gringo, African or Chinese, every part of the world has the great people and its share of a** holes regardless of the color of their skin or eye color!
Sorry if I went a bit off topic but I hate Racist Comments.

I agree with the racists comments! we should be making fun of everyone, then it's not bashing, but just clean fun.
I also think we shouldn't bash the topic starter to bad either. I feel for what he has gone through, I have just not given up though. I had a 96 ram that was bought back from the dealer , the thing would backfire through the throttlebody. Had a 97 that was awesome, fast and 19 mpg. sold it at 100,000miles the idiot that I am, bought a 2001 ram. That was a piece of **** that never got over 13 mpg and had no power, but the dodge dealer said nothing could be done, finally traded it in on a 2005 ram with the hemi, everything is great. And everyone else is right, they all have their problems. Bought a 1991 chevy silverado that was bought back because everything in the driveline was out of tolerance. had a 92 silverado that I put 217,000 miles on.

RE: lots of problems with my RAM 1500
I'd guess he probably didn't even own a Ram in the first place. With the possible exception of the rear end problem, the problems he stated are not typical problem areas for the Ram, and to have that many non-typical problems is not believable.
As for not buying Dodge - 170K on my 01 Dakota 4.7 and 40K on my Ram and never a single trip to the dealer with either truck.
