Default Question for Tonneau cover owners

I am looking for a tonneau for my truck and the choices are enough to make my head spin, but I think that I've narrowed them down.

Here are my requirements:
1. Look good
2. Increase gas mileage
3. Keep the rear relatively dry for stowing items during travel. Security not an issue.
4. No velcro
5. Long lasting
6. No slack in tonneau, must stay tight in heat and cold
7. Low profile, no huge bows

The Players:
1. Ex-tang Black Max or Classic Platinum
2. Lund Genesis
3. Truxedo Truxsport

I'm hoping some of my fellow DF members have one of the covers listed and can give me some feedback.

I purchased this Snug Top cover for $900 installed. I dont have to worry much about theft, water or fading. After alot of research this was my choice for the money.

That's the thing. Me and the wife just bought a new house and I just can't justify dropping 1K on a top. As much as I'd like to, it is out of the question. That is why the only one's I'm looking at are soft tonneaus. Thanks for the input though.

I just received my cover Friday and after I figured how to put it on it took me about a half hour to put it on. I paid $139 for it and it fits real good. It's called a Milemarker Tonneau cover and I got it from Truckchamp.com I just put it on Friday so I don't have any feedback for it yet. I'll post the website.

Also, I have an under rail bed liner. It does go over the top of the tailgate and the bulk head. Any of you with a tonneau and under rail bed liner.

I have an under the rail bedliner as well, and have a Truxedo Lo Pro...I LOVE IT. It has an adjustment to tighten after it gets heated up. I have had it for over a year and it is awesome. It is velcro however, but I cannot believe anyone would rather have a snap cover or that plastic tab kind I have had them all over the years and this one is by far, the goods!

Hozz,

Do you have it installed over your under rail bedliner? How's the weather resistance? Why is any better than one with snaps? Just curious, as I need to decide which one to get pretty soon. Do you have any pics?

I have an Access Lorado cover with velcro rails and haven't had any problems with it. Installation was simple and fast and it locks in conjunction with the locking tailgate. It rolls in and out well and it keeps the box dry and clean. It will work with your set-up.
