engine swap
Only thing is, 6.1 hemi's are set up for cars, the accessory set up is different....now I think there is a guy who converts 6.1s to 5.7 truck setup. I'll have to look. I've read there are some other differences that make it a tougher fit. While the 6.1 is a beast and would be awesome, the 5.7 is definitely plug and play.
Found it, email turboshelbydak@hotmail.com. I haven't tried it myself ($$$$). The most awesome would be the 6.4 (392 ci) they're talking about releasing as a crate engine (500+ hp!!)

The 6.1L engine is on restriction but the 5.7 along with the pcm and harness should be ok.
I am currently stroking a 6.1(375ci) into a 6.8(413ci) that will be installed in a 2005 RCSB ram. Here is a pic of the engine.

The 5.7 with or without tranny is damn near a dime a dozen (maybe a coupla dimes...). I think it would be about the same $$ wise between a complete switchover and a good supercharger kit for a 4.7. I think (personally) you'll reach a point of diminishing returns with the 4.7. It's designed to be a truck motor even more than the 5.7 (long stroke, torquey)
AND I WANT DETAILS ON THAT BEAST YOU'RE MAKING, SRT10KLLR!!
