I agree with below except the ventvisors...had them on EVERY truck I've owned...Dodges especially need them, damn window pillars drip right into the door every time you crack the window,Oh how I miss the drip rails/channels of the past. However, mine are the in-channel type and are low profile with the tint you can barely see them.

I agree with a lot of the above, but I'll list all of the things I dislike:

- any additional vehicle make/model stickers above and beyond what the manufacturer puts on
- plastic/chrome mirror and door handle covers
- slammed 4 x 4's
- LED light bar under the tailgate
- billet fuel filler door
- nylon web instead of a tailgate
- vent visors (funcational, but so ugly)
- wrong offset wheels that make a truck look like a roller skate
- not a mod, but I really dislike "I love my _ _ _ _ _" stickers (usually a breed of dog)

And things I like:

- tonneau covers
- side steps
- Bazooka bass tubes (add a little bass to any stereo and take up minimum amount of space)
- tinted windows
- programmer (but I'm too cheap to buy a Superchips)
- higher output head/fog lights - extra/more lighting is always a good thing
- windshield mounted GPS device
- bed rugs (would have gotten one, but my truck had a liner from the factory)
- winches (don't have one, always wanted one, never really needed one)
- a simple mod, but I put blind-spot mirrors on every vehicle I've ever had

lol. lemme rephrase my mud flap thing... ok... mudflaps are ugly if they arent proportional. if they are dragging to the ground on a dakota, ranger, or s-10 then thats ugly! im too lazy to keep explaining. so ill do it later. im pissed off right now. so thats why.

Trucks not used as trucks. 4x4 parts that rust out because the most off roading the truck has done was go up a dirt driveway. 4x4's that are slammed to the ground. Big bass stickers on the windows of a truck. Big *** rims with really low profile tires on a lifted truck. Excessive use of chrome or "clearance/ marker"lights.

I put mudflaps on my truck before I drove it off the lot. With the hunting I do (offroading in fields, lots of gravel road driving), I would have tons of rock chips without them.

my truck has mudflaps. i think they look good on certain trucks.

when i didn't have them on there always ended up being a bunch of dirt and **** streaked upwards on the paint and looked like ****.

I think the problem with adding mods is some truck owners feel more is better. In an attempt to individualize their ridethey end up overdoing it. There are plenty of mods I like, but not all on the same truck. I personally like the clean, sleek look on a 2WD, which requires veryfew mods, if any. 4X4's can look great with numerous mods if done to suit the use of the truck.

When I bought my '07 two months ago I knew what mods I would make on it the next day: (1) cab level shell (functional for my use of the truck); (2) chrome billet grille because I don't likestaring into the overexposed radiator and trany cooler (it's on order--this is the only addition of chrome and feel it won't stand out too much on a white truck); (3) tinted windows;(4) and yes, side debadging (did it, looks sleek and could care less if anyone knows I have a Hemi or not).I may eventually look at some moderate, no-blingcustom wheels. That's it! I chose a Ram because I really like the styling, so why change it?

i completely agree with everything you have said...now i like to mod my truck a little bit, but not overboard...everything i've done to my truck has been because i liked it and i think it makes it look different cause where i live you never see any lowered rams
