Hello everybody..just bought an 06 quad cab (Mineral gray)..and it came with the 20's (Satin or painted)...does anyone know if in 2006 they made chrome 20's..I could not find them anywhere... but I found a place to do a chrome swap..(they send me a brand new set of chrome 20's (2006 version) and I send them mine back)... and that comes with a one year war. what do you guys think??...

Those are nice!...this deal I was talking about is they send you 4 chrome wheels and you send them back your stock painted wheels...(It runs 125 per wheel shipped...so all other costs like shipping the wheels to them are on you)... 500 bucks!... not that bad!... 1/2 the price of thoses wheels...but then if you did buy thoses you can sell the stock ones?!?!....[sm=confused06.gif]

Any "Chrome" wheel on Rams are plastic. They may have a polished aluminum, which is nothing new, had that on the older models as well. These are not chrome, just a polished rim, not as shiny and hard to maintain, much like the rims on my SRT-10. Stop by your local dealer and tap on the chrome 20" rim, it will become obvious. Then look for the polished. You will see the difference.

But yes, they are just a bonded plastic shell over steel... I dont like them myself.
I would recommend the polished alum. to most people.
