Are there words for SLT ans TRX4
there was a thread like this a week or so ago.
And I don't think they do. Back in the old days they meant something, now they are just meaninless monikers (sp?)
I doubt the designer grew up in Laramie, or has grandchildren in Durango.
And there are no Factories in either North or South Dakota.

ST - Simple Truck
Super Luxury Truck = SLT
Road & Track = R/T
Stock but with upgraded standard options = SXT
Standard base Truck = ST
The SXT and SLT models were simply stock trucks that came with certain standard options....like the ST came with AM/FM radio and the SLT came with Infinity sound and 6 disc cd changer....make sense? It's basically just an option package for the most part...
and as an added bonus
Standard Edition = SE
Street Racing Technology = SRT
you are dead on with the R/T
and SRT.
But to be really technical, its "Street and Racing Technology"....cant be promoting street racing now
and SRT.

However, the Plymouth line of high end vehicles in the late 50's early 60's were known as RTS, or Rapid Transit System......so for people who say R/T stands for Rapid Transit.....they are partially correct.....
