Default brake rotor/pad combination

going to be replacing all my rotors and pads because i'm tired of this constant need to resurface the cheapo's ... what combination do you guys run? hawk pads with brembo rotors were what was reccomended to me but i don't know if brembo makes rotors for my truck (2003 1500QC 2WD) ... what do you guys reccomend?

You can get that combo from tire rack. That is a fine combo.

I like brembo but they are a little expensive for me, so I went with powerslot rotors and hawk pads and I have no complaints.

I've kept the standard rotas and use Greenstuff perfromance 6000 pads.
Great stopping power and no, NO, brake dust at all.

I THINK THE POWER SLOTS ARE OK I HAVE THE FRONT AND BACK SETUP ON MY TRUCK WITH THE HAWK PADS AND ITS NOT MUCH DIEFFERANT IN STOPPING POWER THAT I HAVE SEEN BUT THEN AGAIN I GOT SOME HEAVY 24" RIMS SO IT MIGHT BE DIFFERANT FOR YOU OR ANYONE ELSE THAT DOESNT HAVE MY ISSUE. THEY DO LOOK COOL THOUGH!

i was just pricing the powerslots ... they're more expensive than the brembo's ... i'm not looking so much as for more stopping power as i am for a higher quality rotor that's not gonna need to get cut every 5k miles
