AIR RAM, (sorry I posted that message twice, It didnt show up on my computer) So was the safc2 worth the money? How much is the smt6?? where to get it? Im not planning on a turbo or s/c, cuz i SPRAAAAY!!! Which do you think would be better for me?
I have never sprayed but from what I know it would be best to retard the timing under spray .... in that case the SMT6 allows you to retard timing... how Im not sure but I have read how others use it to remove timing under boost... I paid 200.00 off ebay... I snipped it with 3 seconds to go... you will find most auctions are jacked up in bidding wars.. Every once in a while you find an auction that sneaks through with very few bidders.. or even little intrest... those are the ones I place my bid with less than 5 seconds to the auction end. But most of the time the SAFC will go for 220 250.00 + shipping... keep an eye out for the shipping... many sellers charge JACKED up shipping cost.... so when you think you got a great deal... they tack on the 50.00 shipping charge and you end up paying more.

SPEED SAFE, AIR RAM

also, the nitrous kit I have is the zex kit. I has a NMU(nitrous mangement unit) which makes the nitrous/fuel mixture the perfect ratio, so it says. But the highest Ive ever used is a 100 shot and have never had detonation problems so I never did retard timing and really didnt know how

No offense to you at all AirRam, but I really dont think a 4.7 QC can go 145 with only the mods youve listed. A 2 door SRT-10 Ram goes 154. A QC SRT-10 goes 151.
No offense taken... It is what it is... There are MANY people who talk the talk but have NEVER walked the walk (Hank)... I have been into speed all my life (mostly Drag Racing)... I dont just talk it... I walk it. Most of the pople who doubt have never been over 100MPH... because they find it scarry... Im very calm comfortable and relaxed at those speeds...

I will be honest and say my speedo was burried past the 120MPH mark and all the way to L-1 where is stopped moving.... So honestly I have NO actual number to show I was going any faster than 120MPH because the speedo stops there...BUT the Tachometer continued to climb all the way to 5200 when I let off. I do beleive that the 4.56's had more to do with it than HP alone...

If you look the SRT 10 with its 4.11's and .74 5th gear OVERALL gear ratio it is 3.04 in 5th gear... Not a very stout combonation for top speed. My overall gear ratio is 3.42 which is MUCH more favorable to push through the wind with higher RPMS at that same speed. Im NOT saying I can go as fast as an SRT-10...Im saying that I know I can go 5200RPMs in overdrive ..... If you do the math that equals to approximately 145MPH...

Im not trying to argue the facts... I was there. The next time I will try to take a picture for you guys...

Your math does make sense. Now only If we had some kind of video, or you had an aftermarket speedo that was correct....

Lol, AirRam, what I meant was that you got an aftermarket speedo HIGHER THAN 120 so we could see you going that fast. And the part I meant about being correct, is that it was properly calibrated.

The SAFC and the SMT6 only help controle your fuel curve at WOT... Other than that your Oxegen sensors make sure your AFR is 14.75:1... But there input is NOT used at WOT and thats where the SMT6 and SAFC come in handy... but again they are just band aids.

I wonder if I could use both. Program with a SuperChips the add a safc2. Would that be too much?? What do u think?
