hey need input on how easy it is to debadge everything, except for hemi logo, without damaging the paint. how should it be done?

 

You can use some fishing line or dental floss to "saw" through the double sided tape that they use to hold the emblems on. Then go back and use Goo-Gone or similar product to get the adhesive off. There are other items you can use such as a specialized wheel that 3M has, but most people have floss or fishing line laying around. Goo-Gone is just a couple of bucks at the local store.

 

and goo-gone wont harm the clear coat at all?

I suppose I just don't get this one. Why would anyone want to debadge? Seems to me this so-called debadging says one thing only. I'm embarrassed to own a Dodge?

Nope, It's like with hotrods and choppers, you want a smooth look. Numbers and letters break up the lines of the truck.

Also, after you wash your truck you get drips from the badges even if you towel dry the entire truck. It's annoying.

I disagree completely. I think the badges make the truck appearance, sort of like wearing a tie. I prefer mine with the badges.

I never have had a problem with drips but perhaps it's because I use a blower around the wheels, badges, grills, etc. After that I go over the truck with a chamos.

Out of curiosity, water drips from the door handles as well. Did you remove those also?...LOL!

you can shave the door handles for a completely smooth look. no its not about being embarrased about owning a dodge because the truck looks like a dodge , growls like a dodge and screams like a dodge. so u obviously dont know anything about the sport street scene or even the offraod scene.
