Default Gears...

Where can i find the data plate telling me what axle and gear ratio is in my truck?... I know on the 04 it was in the glove box but i cannot find it on the 06.

I already know I have 3.92 gears... I want to know what axle I have, which is located on the data plate (along with other good info like paint codes) which is why I asked where the data plate is.

If you have a 2x4 then you have the 9.25 rear end

I think you have the 9.25 rear but Im not sure on the front... I do know if you change your gears on a 4x4 you need to do both front and back... just in case you already did not know that.

I did know that actually... dreading it too... hoping the 3.92 will be enough to turn over those 33s in the mud....

Yeah, its a 9.25 rear. Not sure about the 06, but the 03-05's have the ifs 8" in the front.

In the mud, your 3.92 should be OK, but I suggest 4.56.
