1500 pulls to the right
I have a 1500 QC that I purchased new in Feb '04. My problem is that every 3-5 months it aquires a pull always to the right. So, since then, I have had to get it realigned every 3-5 months. Information received from technicians have ranged anywhere from this model being prone to alignment problems, to the latest prognosis of this just being a "safety feature" from the manufacturer. How can a pull to the right be a safey feature? Also, this is definitely not just a slight drift, it is a noticeable pull. I have no suspension damage, I do not drive on rough terrain or jump curbs, tire pressures are correct, and tires are evenly worn. I just want to know if there is anybody out there experiencing similar problems.
just lower the air pressure in your left steer tire to about 15-20 lbs. It should fix it.
Sorry, no input here. I had an Avalanche that did the same thing and they never fixed but mine would jump alignment after about 2-3 days! Drove me insane...

I have the same problem with my 05 I haven't hit anything or changed from stock. I have the factory 20s with the wranglers and I check all my pressure and it still pulls. I've only got 7,700 miles on the truck.
Just have to remind everyone that all paved roads unless in a corner have a taper from the center outward so they will drain water. This is most times the explanation for a very slight right pull in most vehicles. Unless you are in my neck of the woods where the only taper is the truck ruts right where the water sits!

Good luck. I have a 05 1500 QC has pulled to the left (on highway) since I bought it. 6 (six) times to the dealer!! They can not find the problem and thus REFUSE to fix it. ***trapperz unhappy**** 2 times to a private shop, going again this week. Then will have to decide to stay and play with dodge and/or the dealer or just trade/sell the vehicle and be done with the nightmare. Bought the vehicle though employee plan so I apparently would have to go through Dodge arbitration before trying to apply the lemon law. Trust me I would love to be compensated after all the trips to the dealer. The last time at the dealer I asked if we could at least try different tires?? The service manager would only say "sorry dude". His boss is getting a nice letter. As far as the truck I don't think its tires (rotated many times, maybe a suspension problem or bad frame?? At a loss. I actually have been letting air out of the right tire on highway trips. Again hope yours turns out better than mine.
Rotate tires, Tires have pull one way or another. new tires will have red or green stripe around them. 2 tires 2 stripes on left side, car will pull to left

My slight pull right on my 03 std cab started when I had my first alignment at about 25k, done at the dealer. There was no problem with the alignment, I just had a $50 gift cert and couldn't figure anything else I needed. My advice is; if you aren't bumping curbs, don't mess the the factory alignment until you KNOW it is out. It seems to me that the specs they are given allow too much 'within spec' range. If someone has the ability to check the specs off the assemblyline, we should insist that when we align it we have them set it to the exact assemblyline specs, not just within specs. ie. the assemblyling setting might lean more towards one end of the 'spec' spectrum.
I have the same problem with my 04 and when I was home on leave I took it into the dealership and they kept it for a few days and told me that there was no problem with my truck at all and that they have had a few people bring in there trucks for that reason, so i am guessing that it is just a dodge thing. But if you figure it out let me know.
well my dad has the same problem on his 03. the tires were originally on the back of the truck from the time he bought it up until 10k miles when he got them rotated and they went on the front of the truck he noticed a pull to the right so he took it to get it aligned and a few weeks later same problem and then at 20k miles he got em rotated again so they were on the back again and no problems no pulls or anything. 30k miles he has em rotated and they go back up front and he has the same alignment issues. he just rolled over 40k miles and got em rotated and now no more pull. dont know if this is the problem with you guys' trucks but thats what we found it to be on my dads. finally he just gave up having it aligned once a month and just drove it like it was. we dont even have any proof that it was because of the tires but thats what we believe it is.
