Glad you are still with us, man! And no matter what, keep up the good attitude. Like osteodoc08 said, I have no doubt that after you get fixed up with a prosthesis you will be back doing anything you want.

Hey Nick,

Sorry to hear about your injuries. Glad to hear you are alive to enjoy your family!!!!!

Like Doc said above, work like Hell through the PT. It'll hurt, but the harder you work, the sooner you'll be up and around again.

Keep us all posted on how you are doing, and get well---WE'RE ALL OUT HERE ROOTING FOR YOU

This sounds almost like what happened to a friend of mine last summer. He too lost his leg but now where's a prosthetic leg. This prosthetic actually has a computer chip in it which makes it emulate the movement of the other leg,it's absolutely amazing! He walks normal and can run as well. My best wishes and prayers go out to you. Keep a positive attitude and work hard through physical therapy. That's the best medicine!
Take care!

Good luck with the recovery, a friend of mine lost his leg to a freak college football accident and malpractice on the part of the doctor that treated it and did the surgery. He now walks with a BARELY perceptible limp (you wouldn't know he lost a leg from the knee down if he didn't tell you) and he can still play golf. Believe it or not it was the golf he was most concerned about in the hospital, not the free agent contract the Philidelphia Eagle were going to offer him at the end of the season. It seems like your attitide is great and with modern technology you will be up and about in less time than you think. Hang in there, we are all pulling for you and your family.
