Default wheel wigths

What are the widths of the stock 17's on the 1500 and the Heavy duty trucks... I hear the 1500 is 7" but am not positive and want to know what is on the 2500 ... (reason is i saw some tires i want on a 2500 stock rim and wanted to know if they would fit.)

You are correct on the 1500 being 7". Not sure about the 2500 but I would think it would be the same. If it is wider tha 7 I would be suprised if it was much bigger so it would fit just be a little taller.

You can go to Dodges site and check the specs. The 1500 Steel argent 17s are 7" wide. 2500 Steel argent 17s are 7.5" wide. All other 17s for both trucks are 8".
