Default AIR RAID M.I.T.

Hey guys I have an 05 SC Ram 4.7L. What is your opinion on the AIR RAID M.I.T. it is the tube that runs from the intake box and throttle body. I already have a K&N Airfilter and Borla Exhaust, do you think that this is a good setup? I just ordered it from www.TruckPerformance.com It will soon be accompanied with a Fast Man T.B.

I tried posting b4, but it wouldn't let me, so i'll try again.
I had the air raid tube on my taco prerunner. Worked ok. It gets rid of the big black box on top of the TB, so it allows the air to go straight into the engine.
If your going this route, i found on the prerunner, that drilling a couple extra holes into the airbox helped a little as well.
Bot to sure how well it will work on the Rams'.

The AiRRaid is a reputable intake, a good choice for a little more umpfff, and economy. My question is, how much does that fastman throttle body help? Particularly on the 4.7.

Hmm The Fastman Guy said that about 8-10hp with the 70mm but any bigger is too much

On the site it reccomends 68.5mm and that is what I have. It makes a noticable difference in power.
I also have the MIT on my 4.7L. I really did not notice a difference with it, but I think it must help a little and probably compliments other mods as they are added.

Stock throtle body

Fastman throttle body

Really? I am quite interested in that. I was wondering, on the site it says that the Throttle body is 180 dollars with an 80 dollar core charge. How does that work?

Here is some info from Fastman's site:

By sending me 2 checks snail mail. One in a Money Order or Cashiers Check and the core deposit in a separate Personal Check that I return uncashed upon receiving your useable core back.

I require a core deposit that varies in price with which TB you are purchasing. It is returned when your useable core of the same part # as I sent you is received.

When payment is made the Modified TB will be shipped. You install the new TB and to receive your core deposit simply mail your original TB back to me and I will return your deposit.

If you wish to keep your original TB and not participate in the core exchange you can purchase my TB outright plus the core price.

I meant to say 68.50mm I guess I had a brain fart... Oh Well the price is 180 plus 80 core charge? Do you think that the tb and mit together will complement each other?
