My truck is going to the shop what should I tell the guys to check for me?
My truck is going into the shop just for a check up of sorts its an 03 Hemi RC with 35,000miles. Want to know what I should tell him to check out for me. Ever single problem that I could possible encounter I want them to check for. If anyone has just the smallest problem experiances tell me and I'll tell them to look into it. I don't expect this check up to be cheap but if saves me thousand's of dollars later its well worth it. Also why its there I'm having them install a CAI and beehive valvesprings.
You could start by checking out the Technical Service Bulletins (TSB)'s above, see if any apply to your truck and go from there.
I looked right after I initially responded here, and there are numerous recalls and TSB's for 2003 rams.
Look at each one that applies to your truck, print them out, and take them with you. Who knows, you may solve some problems you didn't even know you could have

Get them to DEFINATELY take off (make sure they do that and not flush it) the pumpkin and check your rear end, for the dreaded C Clip problem if you have the factory LSD. Also pinion leaks.
If they find a clip or bits of metal, get them to change out the whole thing with the upgraded parts.
This will hopefully stop your LSD from self destructing in the future.

Have 'em check the following (I'm a former 03 owner)
Rear (see clip issue above)
Wiring harnesses
Check front ride height, adjust torsion bars and alignment as needed.
CV joints and boots (if you have a 4x4)
Fuel filtration.
Ask for a new cigarette lighter. Mine kept burning out after about 15k miles... heheheheh...

You should definitely have the rear end checked and the lubricant changed as you have already been advised. I have a caution for you that you absolutely must be aware of. If you have the LSD differential, when you have the lubricant changed, you have to personally assure yourself that they will use the proper lubricants. Do not assume that the dealer, or whoever you take it to, even knows what the correct lubricants are, let alone use them.
I am presently still dealing with a horror story about how, not one, but two different dealers (one of them, two times in a row) used the wrong lubricants in my differential, each time causing my rear end to burn out. I am awaiting word from Dodge now about what they plan on doing about this ongoing trouble. I have a print-out of the correct fluids and quantity of each one to be used, if you decide you need it. Please don't take any service managers word for the fact that they will use the correct one, they may mean well, but they may also screw your rear end up. Know the correct lubricants and make them show you on the ticket when they are through with your vehicle that they used the right ones. Dealers are apparently the world's worst about this.

So get a trans flush is what you are saying? And check the rear end for the dreaded C Clip. What are pinion leaks?

Suck out the fluids WITHOUT opening up the pumpkin and looking inside for metal and chipped teeth and the like.
Then just pumping some lube, as some people out there have already attested to the wrong types, back in.
You MUST make sure they have opened up the pumpkin to check on these issues as they won't do the job correctly.
A trans flush is a different thing, but for all of that, get that done as well.
