What Gas to Use?

Your logic is flawed and has likley cost you alot of money. Higher octane doesn't make it better. If you vehicle doesn't require high octane fuel (hemi rams don't), you will receive no benefit from running it. Your wallet will just empty faster.

Well if you had a SRT-10 Ram would you put just 89octane in it or would you put the best gas 93 octane or higher in a viper engine truck?

I use Lucas products. Anything above 89 octane is a waste of money IMO.

Running 89octane only costs about $2-4 more to fill up its not really a big walet problem. And the manuel says 89 is recomended so I stick with 89 but when I get a superchip I'm running half tank 89 half 93 since I can't get just 91octane.

Can't really offer any advice on octane - but on my trips from Orange County back home to Spokane I normally run the recommneded 87 in my '01 2500 QC LB 5.9 4.11diff and I've towed cars both ways with no probs.
Where are you headed for? I've run home up the 101, I-5, 97 & and 395 so curious where to and which route as I see you are just east of me in MoVal. Some routes are tougher than others when towing.
