so i washed my truck today...
Sorry to hear about damage.
Before going to the extreme of color sanding, try The Wax Shop's "Safe Cut" product. It is a non-abrasive product that will remove water spots, scratches and most likely the discoloration left behind from the egg. Not sure where you live but you use to be able to get the product at PEP Boys. I had the local NAPA dealer order some for me. I've used this product for over 10 years.
Good luck.

hey yall thanks for all the advice...i just ran to advance auto parts to order a cold air intake id been saving for and on the way out i noticed two spots on my truck where you can see where the egg hit...it left a mark (a scratch) that sort of looked like shattered glass. the stains i was referring to was where the yolk had gotten baked onto my truck after spending hours and hours in the texas sun (it was almost 100 degrees today when i discovered it had been egged) i washed it and went back outside and the stains were still there but i think theyll buff out perfectly because i just spit on it and wiped it in a circular motion with my t shirt and it came right off. will scratch x remove or cover the scratches that were left when the eggs hit? now that ive had some time to cool down about it im not as mad as i was. my dads a police officer in a nearby town and hes gonna call one of his friends who works for the dept where we live and let him know what happened and that if they catch anyone out egging vehicles then hell call my dad but i doubt that it will lead to finding who actually did it. thanks again for all the help!
