I have a 05 4.7 QC & am goining to be putting an exhaust on but I'm not quite sure which to go with. I am looking at a Flowmaster (don't know what series), Magnaflow or Aero Turbine. What I'm looking for is something that has little cabin noise and is not too loud outside until you punch it. Can anyone give me some advice?

I have flowmaster 40 series and I love the sound I get out of it.

 

Flowmaster 40 series or 50 HD, for an opinion on a model for Magnaflow you would want to PM the member named "Wingviper". He has the Magnaflow on his truck and LOVES them. Good luck dude. BTW when it comes to an exhaust system, what are you looking for? A rumble or loud burble/scream? For a louder sound go with the 40series, for a rumble go 50 HD. You could get the 40 series and dump them before the rear axle to make it rumble more but it will still be considerably louder than the 50H.D.

 

I have a Magnaflow and I love it. Wanted something that doesnt rumble too loud at idle but sounds really good when you get on it and Magnaflow has it. If your going with Magnaflow go to this site carshopinc.com . Cheapest by far around, about $460 anywhere else was $530 or more, and the shipping is very fast. I ordered it on a Fri. and got it Monday afternoon.

 

I have the Flow 50 Delta..no drone at all and has a nice aggressive rumble...I use to have a Magnaflow, and i thought it sounded better but the drone was unbearable...

I have the Aero Turbine 3030, with the stock resonator left on it sounds mellow until you get into it, then it soulds awesome. I have heard that taking off the resonator with the Aero Turbine's results in an almost insane lvl of in cab noise/drone.

I have seen a HP and Trq improvment as well as a little better MPG.

 

I am going to ask and get a million different opinions, but here goes. Which would you recommend for a 07 5.7LMega Cab,Gibson or MagnaFlow?
