Picking up my new Ram tomorrow!
So my lease is up on my 2002 SLT 4X4 QC and I am trading it in for a new truck.
I have picked up a 06 Sport 4X4 QC Black!
Anyone tell me if there really is much of a differenc between the SLT and Sport?
thanks
Drew

I have an '05 SLT sport. I didn't know that the suspension was different between the models. I have the anti-spin/limited slip, different gears and wheels, but I thought the suspension is the same as any 1500.
by suspension..i meant shocks...sry
If you ever replace the exhaust, you'll notice the MDS kick in....and it sounds like crap from within the truck. However, youj get used to it after awhile. Other than that, the MDS is pretty cool. I average 17-18 mpg....and sometimes hit 19-20. Most of my driving is on the freeway tho!

As a precaution for the future,
if I were you
I would complain to the dealership service manager
that you think there is too much noise coming from the rear differential
and ask that he write that into your official DCx service record
right from the very begining.
It might help save several hundred $ later
if your 9.25 diff fails a few thousand miles after the warranty has expired.
