I love the sound of flowmaster, but I gotta say, Edelbrock is making a helluva muffler now. Check out the sound here:

Sounds good! I love my flowmaster 40! I don't know about anyone else but I can really hear it just going about 65-70 on the freeway but I really like the sound. It is just what I wanted, Loud! When I am coming to a stop and I put it into 2nd or 1st it really starts to rumble!

I've got the Series 50 SUV muffler on my 4.7... I don't think it could sound any better...

my muffler shop told me not to go with true duals unless i was putting out over 400 horses because you actually lose backpressure and instead of gaining throttle response and torque you lose it. i would go with a super 40 single in dual out and have it coming out the back on either side of the license plate if you just want a good sound. if you want a complete setup get some long tube headers with some highflow cats and a highflow Y pipe down into a flowmaster muffler but that set up will cost you alot and i wouldnt do that unless i was just trying to seriously trick this truck out and needed the better airflow.
