Just installed Hypertech Programmer
Wellcome christopher9659
I was very close buying a Hyperpac. Very pricey. I got SS Flashpaq. Way less then the Hp. I'm very very happy with it. Money well spent. The best part is, It's upgradeable via Internet. http://www.superchips.com/home.phtml

Yes it helped make it shift faster and hold each shift longer as well. However, as soon as i run out of gas i'll put in the 91 octane gas, other then that not much hp notice. Plus its still not shiftinglike a sports car it never will its a truck.
Im glad I saw this. I have a 2002 1500 Quadcab with the 5.9 Magnum....it is slow, gas hog, and can not pull anything. Was wondering how the Hypertech was on other Dodge Ram's. I guess I will not be buying one.
Hey guys, doing a 4 wheel burn out is easy if you read what that email described.
Well if you have ever been out on the road on a day that it has just drizzled or misted for a little bit, just to put a bead of water on the road, you'll know that that little bit of water brings out the oil that has been dropped by cars over the years and stays above the water. lightly touch the gas and boom your going sideways no matter if you got a viper or a metro. Try this one day when you have these conditions, put it in 4 hi and just jam on the gas, you'll laugh your *** off and wish you could do it in dry payvement. Caution, if your not use to this, make sure there are no cars around because loosing traction on all 4's can be a bit hairy if you've never experienced it. In conclusion, he isn't full of $hit about doing it, just misleading that the programer had anything to do with it.[sm=bustedsign.gif]
Well the computer
enabled me to get them all 4 going for about 40 foot on slightly damp
pavement. Now when I say damp I mean ever so lightly. Light enough that the
275/70/17s were squalling and not just spinning

I re-tuned it a couple of weeks ago for 93 instead of 87, and I am noticing differences. I can't speak to power, doesn't feel too much different if any, but it seems to hold gears longer for less open throttle. This helps on long hills that I'm always climbing. Result is, I don't have to open the throttle up as much to make it downshift.
