sounds like a good price you can also stop at virtually any muffler shop and get the same deal maybe even better. the sound depends on what flowmaster it is like a 40,50 or even 70 series, i have the 70 series which is the quietest and it sounds awesome to me.

Looks like the same system I have on my 05. I went with the rolled tips, will help to keep the edges from rusting.

System sounds great! Do not expect a performance gain though. Also note, if it is the same system you can run the tips behind the rear tires on each side or out the back. I did not weld mine together as they stated, clamps worked just fine, assuming you have a impact gun to tighten. I paid $300.

I went ahead and bought it, most shops around here are outrages on pricing and install. I have a buddy who does muffler work out of his home on nights and weekends so buying this way did save me a bit I hope. I am not too concerned with performance, I mean its a hug truck thats weighs half a ton or better. I just wanted sound and looks mostly, better gas would be nice but I cant bitch about something I knew was going to happen . Hopefull it will be ok for what I want. I am wanting to kind of slant them out the side with the angled tips I know it will rust. but I do polish my chrome on truck with turle wax chrome polish weekly so it should last a while. Thanks for your help!

I have the 40 series flowmaster on my 04 hemi and I cut the cats off. It is insanely loud, much like an older chebby with headers and straight pipe. Performance is awesome, I can keep up with alot of mid 90's camaro's/mustangs and waste the new chebby trucks. Only other thing I added was a K&N airfilter, no programming to the computer yet, can't afford to keep tires on this thing without the programming.
