My 05' has recently just started to do this. Driving around 70-75mph it feels like my wheels are gonna come apart, its kinda scarey to be honest. I think it through one of the balancing weights on one of the front wheels so Im hoping that taking it down to the tire shop tomorrow morning to get all 4 rebalanced and rotated will get rid of that problem.

Update on my problem. I rotated my pass side tires and now my vibration moved to my steering wheel. So it is going back to the stealer to see if ballance will help or if it is a bad tire. I tried all the things everyone else mentioned like nutral and did not see a difference. Looks like mine is tire related. Good luck others that are having the problem.

Just an update on mine. Took the truck to dealer today and had oil changed to Mobile 1 and they balanced all four tires and the vibration is gone. My Ram only has 2800 miles on it. It came from the factory will out of balance tires/wheels.

I recently purchased a 2006 1500 QC 4x4 with similar issues. Noticeable vibration above 50MPH which got progressively worse above 75MPH to where the passenger seat can e visibly seen jarring back and forth from vibration. Above 80MPH legs would get numb. Returned to the dealer - they balanced and rotated the tires twice to no avail. Dealer suspected flat spot in the tires as well. I had a hard working salesman who personally took my truck to a local goodyear dealer who tested the tires and determined that 2 of 4 tires were defective! They said they would order new tires from Goodyear and it would take 2 weeks before they would come in. I was not about to drive 2 weeks with a numb leg so I told the dealer to keep the truck unitl my truck ran smooth. they swapped out with 2 new 20" tires from their lot - had my truck back the next day...no other issues other than my factory 20" chrome wheels getting scuffed by the dealer after screwing with the wheels for a day and a half. anyway, BLUF - just bad tires and not the drivetrain, etc. just got back from driving 700+ miles last weekend - smooth as butter. hope this helps

Another update for mine. Dealer said i had 3 bad tires and i had to take it 60miles away to a goodyear dealer. After getting to the goodyear dealer they said that 2 of the tires were slightly off ballance and 1 tire was bad. So i am going tomorrow to get my new tire put on. I think i am going to have them reballance all 4 again because i still have vibration in rear after reballance but the "bad" tire is on the front. They ordered 2 tires to fix 1 bad one so they might not be telling me everything.

Whats the deal with all these bad tires? Is it that hard to ballance tires properly?

not sure what the deal is with the bad goodyears....either way, i think it's the dealer's responsibility to make it right. if those tires are defective, then it is a manufacturer's defect and should be covered under warranty. just make sure you are completely satisfied with your ride when you leave the dealership.

I bought a 06 QC hemi in March, and I too have a vibration at about 85km/h (sorry, don't know the mph) It's like a pulsating vibration. You can hear it, and feel it slightly in the steering wheel. My truck is the TRX package, and came with the 17" wheels, with the optional on/off road tires. I also purchased a set of 20's off ebay, and used them during the summer. I had the vibration regardless of what set of tires I had on. But it's worse with the 17's. I took it into the dealership, and they said the drive shaft wasn't balanced, so they put a new one on. On my way home from the dealer, about 30 kms into my trip home, the vibration came back. I took my truck in again 2 weeks later, and they said they noticed the vibration, and took another 06 truck for a test drive, and that the vibration was worse in the other truck. So they said that they determined that the noise was a "normal" vibration for my year of truck. So needless to say, I wasn't happy with that answer. So I'm going to take it in to another dealership to see if they can fix the problem.

Well I got my 1 tire replaced they said all others are fine. I hooked up to my trailer today to test and at 50 i am still getting bad vibration. It is bad at 60 without the trailer but I bought my truck to pull my trailer and i cant deal with the vibration. It is going back to the tire place to get all tires rechecked and something in writting that says it isnt tires. I think i will call the dodge place tomorrow to let them know whats going on. I dont like my dealer but since they got my $$ they get to hear my problems. I am going to refuse to take the truck back from them this time until I am completly satisfied. If it comes down to it the lemon law will definantly be looked into.

Also I totally agree the dealer should be the one responsible for the tires but they or chrysler refused to help me with it. They said it was my responsibility.
