almost cheap enough to start peeling out again! (not here though, CT gas is still 2.69)

 

hell yeah its cheap enough to peel out now, just filled up and gas was $2.67 so freakin awesome. $20 bucks ALMOST got me full from a half tank. i used to live in a small town outside of KC MO like a year ago, i miss those gas prices. oh yeah, that price is for las vegas.

 

i filled up on friday for $2.45 in orlando at a chevron

 

Lets hope that this keeps dropping after elections are over with. The skeptic little man that lives in the back of my head keeps telling me that this is a ploy, but I really hope it holds because the little penny pinching man that lives in my wallet is tired of 75 dollar fill ups.

Yesterday's evening news reported the cost of crude oil per barrel dropped $2.14!!!!!! The TODAY Show indicated that the cost of gas per gallon could possibly drop below $2 per gallon by first of calendar year. Locally (in Wilmington, NC) the cheapest price is $2.26 per gallon, but North Carolina has the highest gas tax in the Southeast.

 

As much as I would love that, I'm skeptical at least. Isn't that what I paid in 1993?

 

The lowest Ive seen it was on my way home monday, $2.29 Reg. $2.39 89octane, and $2.49 for 91octane. Its a good feeling to fill up a full tank (from about an 1/8th of a tank give or take) for under $55!

 

Yeah I'm very skeptical as well, but I will admit for 2.00 and under I don't really care what kind of mileage I'm getting.

 

I agree with ya Husky. Gas here in Casper, WY is now $2.46 for regular and $2.67 for premium.
